QUETTA: The Provincial Election Commission on Friday withheld results of seven general seats of Senate from Balochistan over PML-N objections. Now the recounting would be held in Islamabad.
According to the earlier announced unofficial results, PPP had won four seats, PM-Q 2, JUI-F 3, BNP-A 2 and ANP secured one seat. The PML-N raised its objections over the success of ANP candidate.
During the earlier elections, PPP’s Saif-ullah Magsi Sardar Fateh Muhammad, Yousaf Baloch, JUI’s Hafiz Hamd ullah BNP’s Israr ullah Zehri and ANP’s Daud Khan Achakzai had been declared as successful. – onlinenews
